Facetime date

I saw your tweet and this isn’t super dramatic but it’s killing me and I need to get it out so I thought I would share. I’m a freshman in college and I’ve had an on and off thing for about a month with a boy who I met there who is also a freshman. It’s been complicated but I’ve had feelings and he just confessed he also had strong feelings and asked me out on a date right before we left for spring break (which I am on right now). We planned something for the week we were supposed to get back but now spring break has been extended an extra week, all our classes are moving online after that, and the university is urging students not to return if possible. This is where it gets bad because I’m an out of state student and getting home on short notice is complicated. But he’s from London and his parents want him home as soon as possible in case future travel bans would prevent him from coming home later or at the end of the semester and his US health insurance runs out at the end of the semester. So our first date might have to be over facetime or in 5 months for the fall semester lmao. I am so sad.
